Whew!!

Today is Wednesday. I can't wait for the rest of the week! I might add, this is the hottest week on record for the last 7 years. It is going to reach triple digits this week if it hasn't already. So, of course this is the week I acquired a new client and she wanted to look at a house. At least I had air conditioning in my car today. If I did not, I would have lost 5 pounds of water weight from all the sweat. My car temp said 95 degrees but I was not deceived! Anyway, so far this week my ac went out on Monday. Finally got someone here about 9:30pm to get it back right. Then my well that supplies my water started acting up and needs looking at. Thankfully I still have water but that is still another issue I have to resolve. Then Tuesday, the internet started not being able to connect to our devices. That issue is still not resolved so a technician will need to come out tomorrow to help with that. I work from home so I need my connection. Also on Monday, I received a letter from the IRS saying I owed them several thousand dollars. Of course I paid it in March, so someone will need to find my money and credit my account. But, having to stay on line for 2 hours twice and one hour another time, I still have not been able to talk to a human being. All of this, and it is only Wednesday. I was talking to one of my new business connections today and I told her that despite all that has happened, I continue to live with an attitude of gratitude. When my ac went out, I did not panic. Was it hot, yes. But I haven't had ac all my life. I grew up with a fan in the window that circulated the hot air through the house. So, it was an inconvenience, but not the end of the world. The internet issue was solved with a hotspot until the internet company can figure it out. Before I go on house showings, I usually print out the home information and take it with me. I pulled it up to print it and realized the internet was not working so I could not print it out. I thought for a minute and came up with an idea I will continue to use because it saves trees and my printer ink. What I did was pull up the information on my cell phone, then I took a photo of it and that is what I used on my showing. I like that idea and will use it going forward. That way, even if I am in an area with spotty internet, I can still pull up the photo with the information on it. Life is full of surprises, twists and turns, ups and down, hills and mountains, ditches and holes. But through it all, try to keep a positive attitude. Look, not at the problem, but at the solution. Let life do what it does and keep moving. Give out but don't give up. By being thankful every day, there is no room for getting stuck in despair or pity. One of the reasons I am grateful is because of a company called Savings Highway Global. They are saving me thousands of dollars on things I already purchase. My household bills have decreased 55% because of their money-saving company within the membership. I am thankful for saving $2400 a year on my multi-car insurance! If you want to save money on your car insurance, home/renters insurance or things you have to pay for anyway (i.e. cell phone, internet, home security system and more), check out the website http://bkam1.com and see what you can save today!
